Involving Older People in Ageing Research

The New Dynamics of Ageing Research Programme is hosting a workshop for PhD students and Post-doctorates to come together and discuss various issues surrounding involving older people in ageing research. Speakers include Professor Anthea Tinker, Kings College London, Dr Tracey Williamson, Research Fellow (Public Engagement & User Involvement in Research), University of Salford, Professor Marian Barnes, Professor of Social Policy, University of Brighton, Dr Friederike Ziegler, Research Fellow, University of York, Mary Brown and Mary Sinfield, NDA Older People's Reference Group and Professor Alan Walker, Professor of Social Policy and Social Gerontology, University of Sheffield and Director of the NDA Programme.

We also hope the day will provide the opportunity for NDA, LLHW and BSG researchers at an early stage in their careers to network amongst themselves.
