The ESRC are pleased to announce they have organised a further series of media training days aimed at PhD/Early Career researchers which are designed to equip you with all the basic skills you need to disseminate your research to the public via the media. The dates and venues are as follows:

Who are these courses aimed at?
ESRC funded PhD and Postdoctoral students and ESRC funded social science researchers.
Preference will be given to ESRC funded PhD students and researchers. Non-ESRC funded students and researchers can attend if spaces are available or will be placed on a reserve list - ESRC may only give two week’s notice of available spaces. Space on these courses is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Further information on the location of each course will be sent to you once you’re application to attend the course has been confirmed.
How much does it cost to attend?
These courses are offered free of charge but you will have to pay your own personal travelling expenses to get to and from the venue. These costs cannot be claimed back to ESRC
How long does the course last?
The course starts around 09.00 and finishes around 16.30/17.00. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided
