Thursday 25 April 2013Hosted by Aston Research Centre for Healthy Ageing (ARCHA),and Keele University Ageing Initiative
Researchers in ageing at Aston and Keele Universities have come together to organise this forum. It is particularly aimed at early career researchers (PhD students and postdocs) but others are very welcome to join us. It will provide an opportunity to connect with other researchers in ageing at the two universities and in the West Midlands. We are keen to hear from researchers in all disciplines from the humanities and social sciences through to the biological sciences.
The forum will take place at Aston University, Birmingham on Thursday 25 April and will run from 10:00 until 3.30. It will provide an opportunity to present your work in an interdisciplinary context and to gain supportive feedback and ideas for future collaboration.
If you would like to participate please submit an abstract (150 words) to either Dr Elizabeth Peel firstname.lastname@example.org or Professor Michael Murray email@example.com by Monday 25 March 5pm. Indicate whether you would like to give a talk or present a poster.
To register your interest in attending please contact Wendy Overton (ARCHA administrator) on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0121 204 4134, or email Elizabeth (email@example.com ) or Michael (firstname.lastname@example.org ).
